Clockwork

Designing a form and structure of living to benefit people in the community with disabilities.

The Proposal is a movable rotating house by using clockwork mechanisms , which will involve space to move around a disabled person rather than the disabled person moving in the

space. This will benefit the disabled person by allowing them to relax in a comfortable environment. Also it will allow them to view life more positively, rather than a daily obstacle. This design would hopefully be the future gateway to new living in people’s community.

The house will require a form of elevated floor, platform or lift in order for the disabled person to easily get up and down the house instead of using stairs. The house will also not have corridors so that the disabled person can get in and out of rooms quicker and easily. No corridors will also help other members of the family attend to anyone in an emergency.
