As a group we wanted to design something meaningful for the community of those living in Lavapies. Especially to target those with less privileges such as education. 

We designed a learning facility where people in the community can learn how to grow allotments from different countries and to sell to visitors. These allotments would have been functioned through energy saving and energy powered equipments.

Additionally every year there is a Tapapies festival in Madrid where they will be given an opportunity to provide vegetables for the festival. 

The allotments were also meant to give back to growing Restaurants in Lavapies.

We deconstructed an artichoke which we did for primary research, this helped influence our idea of exploding the artichoke around the site of Lavapies Spain.
